DANTE XENON B. ATIENZA obtained his degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Economics from Colegio De San Juan De Letran in Intamuros, Manila. He therafter eaarned his Bachelor of Laws from San Sebastian College Recoletos in 1999. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2002.

His career began as a Legal Assistant in the Law Firm of Cabanos Bañares and Libranda in Intramuros, Manila, where he was subsequently promoted as an Associate Lawyer in the year 2002. In 2004, he formally joined the Law Firm of E. O. Gana and Partners and served as the Senior Associate of the Firm.

He has extensive training and experience in immigration, corporate practice, litigation, and election laws.

At present, Atty. Atienza is on leave after he was appointed by President Benigno C. Aquino, III as the Executive Director of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB)

Atty. Atienza was born on December 22, 1970 in Labo, Camarines Norte.
