ALEX O. AVISADO, JR. graduated from the University of the Philippines in Diliman in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree Major in Philosophy Minor in Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctor Degree from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law in 1998 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1999.

He worked his way through law school, first as an Executive Assistant to the President and Chairman of Manila Bankers Life Insurance Company in 1992 and then later as a Faculty Member of the English Department of St. Paul’s College Pasig and O.B. Montessori in Greenhills. While in law school, he was the President of the St. Thomas Moore Oratorical and Debating Society, Team Captain of the Ateneo Law Debating Team and Vice- Chairman of the Association of Law Students in the Philippines.

He started his career in law as an Associate of the De Borja Madialdea Bello Guevarra & Gerodias Law Office where he specialized in litigation and labor. In 2001, he founded the Avisado Agan Nidea Montenegro and Linaac Law Offices. He joined the Firm in 2007 as Senior Partner where he currently heads its Litigation Department. He is an avid golfer and is presently the Deputy Commissioner and Legal Counsel of the Professional Golfers Association of the Philippines (PGAP). He is a Director of the Northern Luzon German Shepherd Dog Association (NLGSDA), Corporate Secretary and Legal Counsel of German Shepherd Dog Federation, Inc. (GSDF) and Legal Counsel of Compassion and Responsibility to Animals (CARA). He is also a General Counsel of the Table Tennis Association of the Philippines (TATAP).
